Cut a strip of red crepe paper 58cm long and 19cm wide.

Glue the halves together.
Make a blank for the petals from cardboard. The template dimensions are shown in the image.
Fold a strip of red crepe paper like an accordion, attach a cardboard petal template and cut it out. One rose should have 15 petals.

Cut petals 7 cm long, coat them with glue, insert a wire into the center and press the remaining petals.
Cover the wire on the petals with a strip of crepe paper, then screw it to the stem.

How to make a paper rose

Like other paper crafts, roses can be made using the origami technique, using only scissors and glue, using corrugated paper. Any of these options can be supplemented with various lightweight decorations; fabric, plastic, and sparkles are suitable.

Large rose made of corrugated paper

This is perhaps the most spectacular option that can be given as a gift, used during a photo shoot, or placed at home as decoration. A characteristic feature of such a rose is that it can be of any size and be not only part of a bouquet, but also a separate craft.

STEP-BY-STEP MK.BIG ROSE FROM CORRUGATED PAPER/Big paper rose

To create it, you need to stock up on the required amount of corrugated paper, wire, tape for the stems, as well as scissors and glue.

For a voluminous bud, you need to cut about 15 petals in the shape of an elongated heart and about 5 in the form of a drop

It is important to unfold the sheet of paper so that the folds of the paper run vertically. After this, the wire is wrapped with film or tape made of the same green corrugated paper. A large flower is attached to 2-3 twisted wires or a wooden stick. Before attaching the petals, they need to be carefully stretched from the center to the edges, slightly bending

If desired, the edges of the peripheral petals can be “curled” a little using a pencil or skewer. To begin with, “droplets” are glued to the stem, and then “hearts” come. When they are all collected, all that remains is to cut out a sepal from green paper, wrap it at the base of the bud and secure it. If desired, cut out still green petals for the stems and secure.

From sheet A4

If you have an A4 sheet of colored paper or thin cardboard, or better yet several, you can create voluminous roses in just a couple of minutes.

First you need to cut out a square and draw a spiral on it, starting from the center

It is important to do this by hand, without being afraid to draw uneven lines - thanks to them the bud will look more natural. The edges of the spiral can be made wavy or in the form of semicircles; this method is good for voluminous flowers

Then, as you might guess, you just need to cut the spiral along the drawn line with scissors.
Next, you will need glue to begin twisting the volumetric spiral. You need to secure its base, make a few drops along the spiral and fix the edge.
Finally, you need to twist the stem out of thick paper. A dry branch, wire or wooden skewer is also suitable for its role.

With candy

The gift will turn out beautiful and tasty if you add candy to the luxurious paper roses. The set of tools will be almost the same as in the first master class, with the only difference being that you will need candies. It is best to choose them round, semicircular or close to this shape. If the factory wrapper does not match the color of the petals, the candies can be additionally wrapped in silver or gold foil.

The highlight of this rose is the shape and stretching of the petals. The first four need to be cut out in this shape, measuring 5x7 cm.
The next two should be 7x7 cm in size, their upper edges should be folded outward.
The remaining petals are cut out in the same way, the number depends on the desired shape and volume of the rose. If you are planning a large flower, the accumulation of paper at the bottom of the bud can be easily trimmed with scissors. And so that the petals do not fall apart, it is better to attach them to the stem and to each other with double-sided tape plus wrap them with thread on top.
It is also better to fix the sepals with double-sided tape and then wrap them with green tape, just like the stem.

Realistic roses for a bouquet

Individually, such flowers do not look as impressive as in a bouquet, so it is better to make them from 7 pieces at once. Origami lovers will quickly master the master class, since here it is necessary to accurately measure the places of the folds, smooth them and bend the paper in the desired way. By the way, it is better to take it not too dense. With this technique, roses can be of different sizes.

Typically, a sheet of colored paper is cut into strips 1-5 cm wide, and thus 4-15 roses will be obtained from one sheet.
The strips must be twisted, bending them diagonally, as in the diagram.

At first glance it may seem difficult, but after 2-3 flowers your fingers already remember the movements and there are fewer mistakes.

Advanced origami

You can make an unusual rose by following the instructions created by Toshikazu Kawasaki. This origami theorist and mathematics teacher at Sasebo Technical College came up with an ingenious design. The idea seems simple - lines are drawn on a square sheet of paper along which folds and subsequently folds must be made in the desired order.

You will need: a box of chocolates - they should be in foil, corrugated paper in your favorite colors, scissors, gold thread, bamboo skewers, satin ribbon, decorative accessories.

Master Class

Take corrugated paper and cut it into squares.
Make small cuts on each square.
Take the petals and wrap the candy to form a rose.
Secure the rose using gold thread.
Repeat these steps with all the candies.
Attach flowers to skewers.
Form a bouquet and tie with a satin ribbon.
Decorate to your taste with decorative fittings.

Rosebud made from solid ribbon

For this bud we use a ribbon 5 cm wide and 1 meter long; if you need a smaller bud, then the length of the piece should be shorter. Follow the master class step by step and you will be able to make the same rosebud from a single ribbon.

Materials:

satin ribbon size 5x100 cm,
threads, needle,
scissors.

Let's turn the tape inside out, point it to the left and bend the top corner down. We twist the ribbon from the corner and secure it with a thread and a needle. Let's wrap the right side of the ribbon to the left side and fold it up again.

Let's sew the resulting fold. Let's make two folds again: first back, then apply the bottom edge of the tape to the base of the resulting triangle. We stitch again.

We continue folding and stitching the ribbon until it runs out; as you work, you can tighten it a little and make sure that the petals turn out the same and even.

Fold the edge in half, stitch it, cut off the rest of the tape and melt its edge. We pull together all the petals and begin to roll them up, as we roll them we sew them together at the base.

You will need: caramels of the same shape, corrugated paper (green and purple), tape, scissors, bamboo skewers, satin ribbon, decorative accessories.

Master Class

Take bamboo skewers and tape the caramels to them.
Cut the purple crepe paper lengthwise into long strips.
Fold the strips several times, depending on the desired petal size.
Cut the petals in such a way as to make a garland. Give the petals a curved shape by twisting them lightly on a bamboo skewer.
Take a skewer with candy and tape the petal at the base.
Wrap the stem with green crepe paper.
Repeat these steps with all skewers. The more skewers and sweets, the more voluminous the bouquet will be.
Form a bouquet and tie with a satin ribbon.

You will need: corrugated paper in pink, green and light pink colors, glue gun, wire, scissors, pencil.

Cut out a rectangle from pink crepe paper.
Fold in half and round the edges.
Stretch the top edge of the petal a little.
Cut the stem of the bud and insert the wire inside.
Cut a rectangle of pink crepe paper larger than the previous one.
Cut 4 petals and curl them with a pencil.
Assemble the rosette and insert the wire.
Cut out a rectangle from light pink paper.
Repeat points 2-7 of this master class.
Make a stem out of green crepe paper.
Form a flower by twisting the bud and wrapping it with wire.

We take the wire, apply a little glue to one edge, then wrap it in foil and form the core of the rose. Set aside the workpiece.

Now we will create the petals. To do this, take pink corrugated paper and cut it into rectangles of the following sizes:

Five by six centimeters - one;
Two and a half by six centimeters - five;
Three by six centimeters - six;
Three and a half by eight centimeters - seven pieces.

It is important to cut not across the unfolding of the roll. And then cut off the top corners and the bottom, as shown in the photo below

Now you need to stretch the petals. To do this, take the petal and press it in the center with your thumbs, at this moment we slightly stretch the paper in opposite directions. We slightly bend the edges and twist them.

The petals are finished, you can start creating the rose.

We take the wire with foil and wrap it with the first petal, then fasten it with thread.

And now we glue all the petals in turn, slightly moving each subsequent one to the side, from the narrowest to the widest petals.

At the bottom of the bud, you need to cut off the corners under the threads.

Now you need to make the sepals. Take green corrugated paper and cut out a rectangle six centimeters wide and ten centimeters long. We cut, forming cloves, and then twist them slightly.

We wrap the rose with a sepal, secure it tightly under the petals with a thread, and cut off the excess.

Now cut two more strips of one centimeter high from green corrugated paper. After this, carefully and slowly we begin to wrap the stem of the flower with one of the strips from the sepals to the middle of the stem. We do not cut off the end.

Now you need to make the leaves, for this we make a template and cut out twelve blanks from green corrugated paper. We also prepare one long and two shorter pieces of thinner wire; you will need two such groups.

Glue the two leaves together, placing a wire between them in the middle. We make three such leaves, two with short and one with long wire twice.

We connect three leaves in groups and wrap the wire with a green strip of corrugated paper. Now we attach the resulting leaves to the stem using glue. We also have an uncut strip of green paper left on the trunk; now it’s time to wrap it around the stem to its edge, while hiding the ends of the wire leaves.

So your wonderful rose is ready, you can put it in a small vase or make a whole large bouquet, depending on where your imagination leads.

You will need: paper of two colors, scissors, candy, ribbon.

Master Class

Cut a petal 5.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm high.
Wrap the candy in a petal and tie with a ribbon.
Cut out 16 petals, 3 cm wide and 4.5 cm high.
Stretch each petal to form a hollow for the candy.
Place the petals overlapping each other on the candy core. Tie a ribbon as close to the candy as possible. (If you tie it not too tightly or not very high, the ribbon will slip and your flower will fall apart).

IMPORTANT! We lay each row of petals slightly lower than the previous one. Literally by a millimeter! After you tie the bud, the lower petals will drop a little on their own.

Cut out petals of a different color, 4 cm wide and 6 cm high. There should be 19 of them.

Fold the petals overlapping and tie tightly. (The more petals, the more difficult it is to tie them).
Stretch each petal at the very base with both hands. Trim the excess tails and attach a leg.
