During the summer holidays I am actively preparing for the start of the school year. Like schoolchildren, I often need bookmarks for books, diaries, magazines, etc. in my work. Just for a classroom journal (to separate pages by subject), I need at least 9 bookmarks, so I decided to make corner bookmarks first. I know two ways to fold a corner bookmark: from a square and from a rectangle. I will tell you both methods, and you choose what is easier and more convenient for you.

So let's get started! Let's prepare everything we need, for the corner itself we will need colored paper, scissors, a pencil, a ruler (yes, no glue needed!!!)

1 way. Rectangular corner bookmark.

1. Take colored paper, scissors, pencil, ruler

2. Cut out a rectangle, mine is 10*14 cm.

3. Bend one corner (as shown in the photo), you get a right triangle

4. Then the second corner (see photo), it also turned out to be a triangle.

5. Now we bend the remaining corners to the base of the triangle.

6. And we push this edge inside (into the upper pocket)

7. Iron it well, the corner is ready!

Method 2. Square corner bookmark.

2. Cut out a square from colored paper, mine is 16*16

3. Bend it diagonally, we get a triangle.

4. Mark the middle of the base of the triangle and make a tuck.

5. Turn the top corner towards the intended middle, iron the fold.

6. Bend the right and left corners to the intended middle.

7. Straighten the right and left corners.

8. Now bend the right corner towards the upper corner, iron the fold well.

9. And we tuck this corner into the pocket.

10. Now we raise the left corner to the upper corner, iron the fold.

11. We also tuck it into the pocket. Iron everything well again.
