Crochet loin tunic “Primrose”
An openwork blouse in the boho style will appeal to every fashionista, regardless of the characteristics of the figure.
Finished product size – 58-60
To work you need to prepare:
- 500g blue yarn “Anna” made from 100% mercerized cotton;
- hook.
Before starting work, we take measurements and make a full-size pattern.
Then, we knit a small sample to calculate the number of fillet cells. In our example, there are 84 cells, 50 of which are a pattern made according to scheme 1. We add the remaining loops on both sides of the pattern. There should be 17 on each side.
To knit the front of the product, we cast on 252 VP + 3 VP lifting. 84 cells should equal 54 cm. We knit 101 rows (or 70 cm), after which we proceed to forming the neck, guided by diagram 2. For the shoulder we leave 22 cells.
We do the back in the same way as the front, only we don’t make the neckline so deep. After the pattern, we knit 16 rows of fillet mesh, after which we proceed to forming the neck according to pattern 3.
Next, we make the shoulder seams. If the width of the canvas is less than necessary, it is very easy to increase it. To do this, we attach the thread at the beginning of the front fabric and knit with fillet checks in reverse rows to the end of the back.
Now we determine the place for the armholes, after which we proceed to knitting the extensions on the sides. We attach the thread at the beginning of the fabric and carry out the work up to the armhole, without knitting 3 cells. We knit these 3 cl without tying 1dc. We unfold the canvas. There should be 4 loops on the hook. Next, we subtract 3 cells from one edge, and then do not tie 3 cells to the end.
We knit the resulting 7 loops together. Then we knit with fillet mesh until we reach the bottom edge of the fabric. We continue knitting in reverse rows until the last 10 rows of the front and back. After this, we cut the thread and make a corner on the other side.
To create sleeves, we attach the thread at the bottom of the armhole and knit in circular rows to the desired length. We complete the work by tying along all edges of the product (see diagram 4)
The tunic is ready.

Traditionally, the boho style for plus-size people is a ready-made and incredibly “tasty” cocktail from many trends that fashion is rich in, such as military, safari, ethnic and folk motifs, vintage, and hippie style. Every woman, regardless of status, age and figure characteristics, dreams of attracting attention to herself, attracting with her external beauty, to be the most beautiful and stylish. The boho style proves to every beauty that you can become a star even without having the notorious 90-60-90 parameters.
Boho Ideas
In every season, fashion dictates to us how to choose the right color, print, style and style. But there is a style, proudly called Boho, which is dictated not by template rules, but by life-affirming optimism, the desire for freedom and comfort. He has a somewhat eccentric character, which is given to him by the fantasy of a fashionista. This stylistic direction in creating an image is an incredibly rich mix of many styles, such as safari, motley “gypsy”, colonial, gentle vintage, military, imbued with hippie happiness and original ethnicity.
Light and practical boho: ideas, patterns and diagrams
Boho style tablecloth skirt
Why this name? The thing is that there is no pattern as such for sewing, and the outline of the pattern really resembles a tablecloth. The pattern consists of a simple square in the middle and rectangles on the sides, and you can sew such a model in just a couple of hours.

Beautiful folds
For such a tunic you don’t even need a pattern. Take a circle folded four times, mark a sleeve and a neckline. This dress is cut using the same principle. Only instead of a circle there is a square. And the skirt of the dress is made like a tablecloth skirt, see above. A white linen dress looks more interesting. Please note: the sleeves are wider, and the neckline is larger - it nicely exposes the shoulder.
Close-up diagram of a white and yellow linen dress
There is no armhole as such, the sleeve width is approximately 27-30 cm, narrower in yellow, wider in white. It turns out that we take fabric with a width of 140 and a length of 280, fold it in half - this is the length of the dress, and again fold the width in half and cut it. But the sleeve width was measured at 30 cm and then there is an oblique line to the waist, set aside the width of the dress: chest circumference plus the freedom of fit. But we don’t say goodbye to you here, come back again!
Here you will find pattern diagrams for boho. The boho style originated in France in the 15th century. Its founders are considered to be gypsies who lived in Bohemia. They dressed freely and casually, which caused indignation among local residents. This type of clothing was adopted from the gypsies first by students, and then by a wider circle of people. Today, boho clothing can be found in a huge variety. We invite you to consider simple boho patterns.
Features
Boho style is also called bohemian chic. It has its own distinctive features:
- It is based on freedom, ease, naturalness, a non-standard combination of things and elements, which adds chic to the whole image.
- Be sure to have a lot of decorations: beads, beads, lace, ruffles, ribbons, pendants, medallions, pockets and much more.
- A wardrobe staple is a boho skirt. Patterns are most often in the form of the sun, wedges, with frills. Multi-layering is encouraged.
- Bright but not flashy colors, contrast, print, ethnic colors.
- The fabrics used are exclusively natural.
- External negligence is carefully thought out so that the clothes do not look ridiculous.
People who prefer boho clothing are usually creative, enthusiastic, and free-spirited. This style has become very popular for plus size women. Not because it allows you to hide the features of your figure. The main advantage of boho is emphasizing femininity and attractiveness.

Crochet tunic in boho style “Birds”
Finished product size – 60 (European 54)
For work we will need:
- 600g gray Anna yarn made from 100% mercerized cotton;
- hook number 1.
Before we start knitting, we take measurements and make a full-size pattern.
Now we knit a small sample. We need it in order to determine the number of cells for your size. In this example, 92 cells are needed.
To knit the back of a tunic in boho style, crochet 276 VP+ 3 VP instep. This will correspond to the 92 fillet cells we need.
According to scheme 1, we knit a pattern with the image of birds. After 117 rows are ready, we begin to form the neck. On each side we leave 24 squares for the shoulders, and on the inside of the neckline we subtract 3 times by 1 square. On row 120 we complete the work.
The front part of the product is in boho style. We crochet 276 VP + 3 VP lifting. We knit the pattern according to pattern 2.
Then, to form the neckline, mark the middle of the canvas, placing 24 squares for the shoulders. We knit the neckline for 20 rows, after which we sew the shoulder seams.
If the resulting width is not enough, it can be increased. To do this, we attach the visa thread to the front and make fillet cages in rotating rows to the end of the back. We knit until the required width is achieved.
Next, we determine the location of the armholes and begin knitting the extensions on the sides. To do this, we fasten the thread at the beginning of the fabric and perform fillet knitting without knitting 3 cells to the end.
We knit these cells without tying 1 DC to the end. There should be 4 loops on the hook. Rotate the canvas. From the other edge we decrease 3 loops and do not knit 3 loops at the end. We knit the resulting 7 loops together.
We continue knitting using the fillet technique until the last 10 rows. We cut the thread and make the second corner in the same way.
Sleeves. The thread must be secured at the bottom of the armhole and then knitted in the round until the desired length is achieved.
Let's move on to the final part - the strapping. We tie the bottom of the product in 2 tiers according to pattern 3. To do this, we first make a fillet mesh of 10 rows, and then begin to knit the first fan. We proceed to the second only after retreating 5 cells. In the 10th row we make the binding according to pattern 4.
We tie the sleeves with 1 row of patterns according to pattern 3, and the neck - according to pattern 4.

To work you will need:
- yarn to your taste;
- knitting needles;
- two square-shaped leather blanks.
Before you start knitting, you need to prepare a pattern on paper and knit a sample to understand the stretchability of the thread.
Pattern-basis for a knitted vest
Any natural thread tends to shrink a lot, so you should add a couple of centimeters to your measurements. Let's start knitting:
- We knit the back first. First, a garter stitch 10 centimeters long is performed, then we switch to stockinette stitch mode, adding loops on the sides for smooth bevels.
- We form the armhole. Approximate location at a height of 44 centimeters from the beginning of knitting. To do this, you need to knit the first and last loops five centimeters long with a relief elastic band. The formula is as follows: four rows of knit stitches, then four rows of garter stitch. Smooth bevels are formed by gradually adding loops at the boundaries of the planks. By knitting loops to a length of 26 centimeters, we close all the loops.
- Knitting shelves with knitting needles. The left piece is knitted first using the garter stitch technique. After 10 centimeters we switch to stockinette stitch. The last group of loops, 10 centimeters long, is knitted with a relief elastic band.
- Similar to the back, we add loops for bevels. At a height of approximately 40 centimeters, we begin to form the neck of the vest by decreasing the loops.
- At the same time as the neckline, we form the armholes of the product in the same way as the back. We knit the right front of the vest in an identical way.
Knitted vest with braids
After all the details are ready, we assemble the product, guided by the diagrams. Openwork crochet tunic with “Dusty Rose” pattern
Let's consider another option for making a beautiful crocheted product in the boho style. This is a loose tunic with a rose pattern.
Finished product size – 60 (European 54)
For work we will need:
- 500 g of pink yarn “Anna” from 100% mercerized cotton;
- hook number 1.
Traditionally, before starting work, we take measurements and make a pattern. We will check with her later so as not to make a mistake with the size.
We knit a small sample to determine the number of fillet cells. In our example there are 84 of them (60 for the pattern and 12 for the sides).
We start knitting from the back. We crochet 252 VP+ZVP lifting. We perform the first 118 rows according to scheme 1.
Next, for each shoulder we leave 20 squares and proceed to knitting the neck according to the same pattern.
The total height of the backrest should be 122 rows.
We make the front part of the product in the same way as the back, only we make the cutout deeper. To do this, we knit 102 rows, after which we proceed to design the neck according to pattern 2
For each shoulder we leave 20 cells, and starting from the 30th cell. in each row we decrease 1 square by 10 times. We finish before the 10th rows without decreasing and cut the thread. The height of the front should match the height of the back.
The next step is making the shoulder seams. It happens that the width of the product is insufficient. Don’t rush to get upset, it can be changed. To do this, we attach the thread to the beginning of the front and to the end of the back we knit fillet cages in reverse rows until the desired width is achieved.
Armholes. We measure from the shoulders. seam down 32 cl (or 21cm). The diameter of the armhole will be 64 cl or 42 cm. Next, we sew the side seams from the armhole to the waist. This will be 24 rows or 12cm.
Extensions. We fasten the thread at the beginning of the fabric of the front part and knit it with fillet mesh, without knitting 4 cells. Then we make 3 cl without tying 1dc and 1 cl. There should be 4 stitches on the hook. The work must be turned around, skip 1 kl on the back, perform 3Dc and not finish knitting. There should be 7 loops on the hook that need to be knitted together, then continue knitting until the end of the back (until there are 10 stitches left to the edge).
We perform the second corner in the same way.
The crocheted boho tunic is almost ready, all that remains is to knit the sleeves. To do this, attach the thread at the bottom of the armhole and knit in a circle until the desired length is achieved. Tie all edges of the product according to pattern 3
Making a crocheted tunic in boho style is quite simple. This technique is also available to beginning needlewomen. Even loops and fast rows.
What to wear with?
To match the boho style, you need to create a look where each element plays a role: clothes, shoes, accessories.
What do you need to have in your wardrobe for a flawless look? Remember:
- a skirt that must be below the knee, not tight-fitting. The presence of several layers is encouraged;
- vest. It can be made of fur, suede, denim (with or without fringe);
- skinny jeans (black, gray, white excluded);
- oversized cardigan;
- bell-bottom trousers
Shoes play an important role. The choice should invariably fall on products made from natural materials - leather, suede. If these are boots, then their color should vary from light beige to orange, the shaft should not be narrow, the heel should be absent or inconspicuous. If these are boots (worn with shorts, tunics and jeans) or sandals (can be with pieces of fur, stones, etc.), then the color scheme should also be warm. The absence of a heel is not at all necessary - a small platform and a square heel can be quite suitable. Stiletto heels are a definite no.
Accessories will help you complete your boho look:
- hair decorations: ribbons, soft hoops with flowers, a scarf turban;
- shapeless suede and leather bags with rich embroidery;
- long and wide scarves that casually drape around the neck and have ethnic designs;
- chains or necklaces hanging below the chest with heavy pendants;
- rings with natural stones;
- a large number of leather woven bracelets;
- wide-brimmed hats.
Boho is a unique style in which different cuts can be combined with many different textures, you just have to show your imagination and not pay attention to generally accepted principles.
