If you want to make a tall and voluminous heart, but the width of the foam is small, you can make two or even three layers. The foam is attached very well to each other, so no one will notice this little thing. But this should be taken into account when cutting and measuring cardboard.

The next step is to attach the two parts; corrugated paper is suitable for this. A side is made from cardboard, wrapped around foam, and everything is tightly covered with paper.

February has begun, which means Valentine's Day is approaching. Although this is not a native Russian holiday, more and more people celebrate it every year. They give all kinds of valentines and of course sweets. What if we combine? Let's give your other half a sweet and beautiful Valentine's card.

As usual, we will need a base, candy, crepe paper, organza, beads, satin ribbon, toothpicks and a glue gun to put it all together. Cut out a heart from polystyrene foam.

We cut out a strip of crepe paper and wrap it around the perimeter of the heart. Decorate with ribbon (not shown in this photo yet).

I wanted to make a heart with two types of flowers, and two types of candy, respectively. I made simple flowers from candies with two tails. Simple because they are easy to do. We attach the candy by one tail to a toothpick. From corrugated paper we cut out a strip in height slightly higher than the candy, the length depends on the splendor of the flower. The more revolutions, the more magnificent the flower will be.

Glue the strip around the candy, gathering it slightly. Stretch the edges.

To decorate the void, take organza and cut it into 15x15 cm squares. Round the edges a little.

I’ll brag a little bit, I bought myself a floral organza. It costs twice as much and the edges don’t fray.

But there are also disadvantages, in my opinion, it is more transparent than simple tulle organza and stiffer.

Use a toothpick with candy to pierce the square in the middle and insert it into the base.

Additionally, we also make filler for decoration.

Separately glue 10x10 cm squares onto a toothpick and insert them between the candies.

With other candies we make lilies. I have already talked about them in detail. Now the heart is ready, decorate it with beads. Size 30x30cm.

And one more heart for example, although here the heart turned out to be pot-bellied and fluffy.
