Master Class
1. Take a sheet of red paper and cut out 4 strips 30 cm long and 2 cm wide.
4. Glue all the strips on top of each other in the center. The result was a flat figure made from glued strips.
5. First glue the 4 opposite ends of the strips together, as in the photo below. This will create better stability for the figure.
6. Then glue the ends of the remaining strips together. The result was a three-dimensional ball of stripes. This will be the body of Santa Claus.
7. Cut out flat boots from black paper. Glue the boots to the lower part of the body so that the ball stands firmly on them.
8. Draw and cut out large hands from red paper. Glue white paper mittens to your hands. Then glue the arms to the top of the ball.
9. Cut two strips of beige color measuring 30 x 2 cm. First glue the ends of the strips at an angle of 90 degrees overlapping. By folding the strips one by one, make an accordion. Glue a triangle-shaped piece to the end of the accordion. You will need it to glue the head of the craft onto it.
10. Glue an accordion of strips to the top of the ball. That is, on top of the glued hands.
11. On a white sheet of paper, draw a head with a hat, eyes, beard and mustache. Paint your head with different colors. Using scissors, cut out the drawn head.
12. Glue Santa's head to the triangle on the accordion.
13. Cut out a belt from black paper. Cut out a buckle with a septum from shiny yellow paper. Thread the belt through the buckle and glue it to the stripes on the body.
14. Make two similar shapes. If desired, Santa Claus made of paper in the hands of children can jump and shake his head. That is, you can play with figures, laugh and sing a song.
Patterns for making Santa Claus
We offer instructions for making silhouettes of Santa Claus from paper, cardboard and fabric.
How to make Santa Claus out of paper: description, photo
The place under the Christmas tree is that mysterious part of any room where you can find gifts in the morning. They do not appear under the Christmas tree on their own. This is the result of the work done by Santa Claus on New Year's Eve, for which he has been preparing for a whole year. This means that it is imperative to seat the magical winter guest under the sparkling green fluffy beauty. Let him conjure what he dreams of.
- What manipulations should be done with printed templates? Everything is so simple that even a child can do it. Carefully cut out, fold, focusing along the edges, and glue along the white stripes. Now you won’t have any difficulties searching the World Wide Web for the classic paper version of Santa Claus.

Plasticine figures
Many people remember the Soviet plasticine cartoon with congratulations from Grandfather Frost and the snowman. He is cheerful and joyful! You can make a similar figurine yourself! We use the figurine in New Year's crafts for school and kindergarten. Attached are the sculpting diagrams.
Origami Santa Claus for children
Last year we already had a topic about paper crafts for New Year's Eve. There we have already prepared origami DM. This year I was looking for an easy scheme that the kids could master. And I found it!
We place the colored square with the red side on the table, the white side facing us. Fold in half diagonally. Fold the top corner down.
We bend both sides to the middle line.
And the second one.
We make a “fur coat collar” DM, folding over the edges of those sides that we just folded towards the middle.
At the top, we unbend the fold on the collar to get a more “lush” top of the fur coat.
We bend the bottom of the workpiece so that a small part (triangle) protrudes from above. It looks like a hat.
We bend the very top of the cap, the corner.
We turn the workpiece over and bend the corners on both sides 2 times, like an accordion.
Like this for the first time.
On the other hand we do the same. And bend the same corners in the opposite direction.
Then the very edges of the folded sides will be visible from the front. We did this by the hands of DM.
Now let's work with a felt-tip pen and draw a beard, eyes, nose and cheeks.

This kind of work can be fixed with glue so that all the edges “sit” in their place and do not move. The figurine can be used as a toy on the Christmas tree or glued to a New Year's card.
Here is another not very difficult option.
For another option, watch the video.
And modular origami, which to me seems something fantastic and complex.
New Year's pillows
An original themed gift – a pillow with a picture of Santa Claus. You can make it yourself, or you can order it from a craftswoman or print it with a personal inscription, as they do on custom-made T-shirts.

New Year's gingerbread
Christmas gingerbread cookies, loved by many, can also come in handy for the New Year. We decorate the Christmas tree with them, make an edible garland, put them in beautiful packaging and give them as gifts.
Dolls for the holiday
To create a festive atmosphere, you don't always need to buy something. Sometimes it is enough to update what is available. So, you can “dress up” Santa Claus and Snow Maiden in new fluffy fur coats.
Craftswomen sew New Year's hero-dolls from fabric, nylon, and knit. The results are real masterpieces! This is a great gift for family and friends! Such a doll will delight everyone for many years in a row.
What else can you make Santa Claus out of?
If you are captivated by the idea of themed gifts and decorations. Pay attention to the following ideas: made from cotton wool, pom-poms, napkins, cross stitch and a New Year's cake in the shape of Santa Claus.
Santa Claus made from cones
This craft can be done with children; it is easy to make. You can make it using templates or using your own blanks.
For the craft, prepare:

- paper glue;
- scissors;
