Painting on leaves with paint
Another amazing technique: various patterns are applied to smooth dried leaves - dots, stripes, strokes, zig-zags and so on.
Then the painted leaves are placed on cardboard, starting from the center, laid out to the edges in different directions. It looks like the sun. The contours of the resulting solar design are outlined with a felt-tip pen and cut out with scissors, both external and internal.
You can also use paints to paint funny faces and eyes on the autumn leaves - you’ll end up with just cute fantasy creatures. Place them on a background with painted grass or the seabed, and you get unusual inhabitants of the forest or the seabed.
You can also use paints to make a whole family of cats or foxes out of autumn leaves. It is enough to draw on the eyes, noses and cut out the ears along the edges.
Using this principle, it is possible to make his favorite cartoon character together with your child. This will allow children to show a craving for experimentation and the desire to do something with their own hands, especially since leaves are an affordable consumable material that you won’t mind spoiling.

-Guys, please tell me what time of year it is now? ( autumn
)
-What autumn months do you know? ( September October November)
What do you call autumn in September? (early)
What changes in nature occur in early autumn? (There is beauty all around, the air smells fresh, the leaves begin to change color - they turn yellow, turn red).
-What can you call autumn in October? ( gold
)
-What changes in nature occur in the golden autumn? (Birds fly away to warmer regions. The leaves are beginning to fall. The air is fresh, even a little frosty, but not cold. The time of leaf fall does not last long. Two weeks - and now the trees are bare. The bright colors of autumn are disappearing).
-What is autumn now? (late)
-Let’s remember what the signs of late autumn are. (The foliage has fallen, there is constant rain, there is fog in the mornings and even sometimes frost. The days are shorter, the sun shines, but does not warm, it often rains, it is cloudy and cold outside, people go out and wear warm clothes (boots, jackets, hats) .
Fizminutka
(Children imitate the movement of leaves while reading a poem: they squat, run on their toes.) Physical exercise is carried out 1-2 times.
We, autumn leaves, sat on branches,
The wind blew and they flew.
We flew and flew and sat down quietly on the ground.
The wind came again and lifted all the leaves.
He turned them over, spun them around and lowered them to the ground.
- Guys, look out the window... What do we see there? ( leaf fall
). Today we will make an application using natural material, and it is called “Leaf fall outside the window.” First we need to make a window, and then we will stick on the leaves.
- Let's get to work, make sure your work is neat.
— After the lesson, we will make an exhibition, and Autumn will choose the best works.
Result:
— Guys, what beautiful work you have done.
— What is leaf fall?
— What color are the leaves in late autumn?
— How did you make the appliqué?
- Well done, thank you!
Mosaic technique
This technique involves laying out autumn leaves like fragments in one whole mosaic.
Moreover, if you look closely, you will notice that the leaves here are cut with scissors to create the required shape.
The main difficulty in creating this kind of appliqué is that it is symmetrical about the center. In order to achieve this, the leaf set must have identical pairs of leaves, so you will have to spend time searching. As with the butterfly:
By the way, you can add not only leaves to your paintings, but also combine them, for example, with dried fern stems.
