The main distinguishing feature of all pupae of this type is the elongated, slightly exaggerated shape of all limbs and head. In addition, Tilda's eyes are indicated by two sewn-in dots ; beads and artificial doll eyes are not used here. Any Tilda has light makeup, at least rosy cheeks. Hair is made either from yarn or wool for felting.
The materials for sewing such cuties are exclusively natural - calico, linen, cotton, etc. There is a rule according to which a doll’s clothes should not contain more than three colors, and preference is given to pastel shades. Making a figure

The result should be the following parts: two arms, two legs and a solid torso with a head.
Turn right side out and carefully iron all elements . After this, fill the legs with holofiber up to about the knee, machine stitch along this level, after which continue stuffing the parts. The doll's legs will bend. Sew up the legs filled with holofiber.
The body is tightly stuffed with filler in the upper part; there should be less holofiber in the middle and bottom so that the doll bends. Stitch the bottom. The handles are tightly stuffed, but the holes are not sewn.
Baste and stitch the legs to the body. Carefully sew the arms in with a hidden seam.
Hair for an angel is done in several steps. First of all, you need to outline the line of the bangs and embroider it with floss threads. After this, insert several pins into the seam line, and insert a wire perpendicular to them into the head, piercing the doll’s head right through. Thread a few turns of thread along the wire, then begin to wrap the doll’s head with this thread, guided by the pins. After all the hair has taken its place, wrap the ends of the threads around the wire, bend it and wrap it towards the head. Sew the parting with threads. The hairstyle is ready.
Tilda doll flower angel
With the arrival of the long-awaited spring, I want flowers and birdsong more than ever. To bring freshness to my interior, I decided to sew a floral angel in the Tilda style. This cute doll sits comfortably on my windowsill and now not only pleases my eyes, but also looks after my flowers. Sewing such a beauty is not at all difficult. A do-it-yourself doll is always very beautiful. For sewing I needed the following materials:
- flesh-colored fabric (linen, cotton or calico) - filler (holofiber or padding polyester) - threads, needles, sushi stick - satin ribbon and hair yarn

This is my first doll that was sewn using a sewing machine. It was scary, but stitch by stitch, I saw that I was doing well. The fear has passed and now work is more fun and faster.
So, for the doll’s body, we fold a piece of white and flesh-colored fabric with the right sides inward and stitch it together. You need two of these parts. We put them together, transfer the pattern and sew along the contour. To avoid tightening the fabric after turning it inside out, notches need to be made at the bending points.
Having reviewed many tutorials on filling the body without “cellulite”, I decided to try the method of simultaneous inversion and filling; overall, I was pleased with the result. We sew the arms and legs of our angel. In order for the doll to sit confidently, you need to stuff the legs up to the knees, sew the needle back with a seam and continue filling. We insert the legs into the carcass, pin them and stitch them.
For the dress, I took a rectangular piece of fabric and, folding the edges, sewed it.
Then I folded it in half and stitched along the short edge.
Having attached the skirt to the body, I formed folds with pins and sewed it on. I sewed a belt on top.
We sew the arms with a hidden seam, trying to place them at the same level.
For the hair, I used yarn that I found in my mother's piggy bank. I embroidered bangs with a needle.
I inserted a wire at ear level and pins vertically. We take the thread and begin to wrap it from one side of the wire, through the pin, over the other end of the wire and back. So up to the bangs.
We wind the thread to the end of the wire, lubricate this layer with PVA glue, bend the edges and wind it in the opposite direction. At the base of the head we wind the thread in layers so that we get a bun. Then we twist the wire into a “bagel”.
We do the same on the second side. When finished, you need to sew the threads through the middle of the head, imitating a parting.
For the wings I chose the same fabric as for the doll's body. I folded it, translated the pattern and stitched it. After turning it inside out, I ironed it and filled it, but not tightly. We sew it to the doll's body.
I twisted two roses out of satin ribbons, sewed one to the belt, and styled the second in my hair. Using a toothpick and fabric paint, I drew eyes and added blush to the cheeks. Now my house will always be warm and cozy in spring.
