Crafts from Kinder surprises: flower meadow

Flowers and chocolates as a gift are a classic solution, but too banal. In search of fresh ideas, it’s worth looking at photos of kinder bouquets: that’s where there’s real scope for imagination. This suite design is universal and suitable for both children and adults. After all, you can remain with a sweet tooth at any age, and the love for mini-toys made from iconic eggs rarely goes away over the years.

A little history

The legendary Kinder Surprise is a product of the Italian concern Ferrero. The first hollow candy with a funny toy inside was released in 1974 at the suggestion of inventor William Salice. The idea of "Kinder" is borrowed from Easter eggs with a surprise, which children really like.

In European countries, original candies with inedible “filling” are not sold in the summer, since they can melt and stain the plastic capsule packaging they contain. Instead, the company offers an analogue called Kinder Joy. It is a plastic egg divided into two halves covered with foil. One contains a chocolate dessert, and the other contains a surprise toy.

Every year the manufacturer produces over 100 varieties of Kinders. All toys for them are painted by hand, which affects the cost of production. Collectible series, mostly dedicated to cult cartoons, are especially popular. Although there are also Christmas or genre options.

What you will need

So, it is worth remembering that when working with Kinder Surprises there is a possibility of damaging them , since they have a rather thin layer of chocolate. It is also not recommended to hold the egg in your hands for a long time, otherwise the chocolate may melt. These two points must be taken into account .

First you need to think about what end result you would like to see. The design can be different and it should match the tastes of the person to whom you are going to give the gift. In order to make a bouquet of Kinders with your own hands, you will need:

  • Kinder surprises, the number of which depends on the desired size of the bouquet;
  • kebab sticks or disposable Chinese chopsticks (make sure that the length of each is at least thirty centimeters, there should be about forty pieces in total);
  • tape or wire;
  • scissors, needle and thread (may not be needed);
  • ribbons and other items for decoration;
  • colored corrugated paper (one skein is green, the other of any other color);
  • basket (optional).

How to choose “Kinder” for a suite arrangement

Most often, a bouquet of chocolate eggs is given to those who collect certain series of toys. Such a gift will bring double joy. However, sweet products will have to be chosen with great care so as not to disappoint the recipient, especially if it is a child.

Before you start arranging, it is advisable to find out which series is best to present. And then go to the store and, using simple techniques, “calculate” the required copies. Of course, you can give a new collector's edition as a gift, but there is a danger of receiving a puzzle or a mobile device of unknown purpose instead of the desired figurine.

In series where there is no inscription on the box of candy: “... and other toys”, you definitely won’t get any unnecessary “garbage”. As a rule, products with a warranty are more expensive.

In other cases, in order to somehow protect yourself from disappointments, you can try:

  1. Shake the egg and listen to the sound from inside. The one-piece figurine from the collection has a ringing sound, like glass. Folding puzzles and other “foreign” objects usually take up all the space inside the capsule and either sound muffled or are not audible at all. Having got the hang of it, those with an ear for music will even be able to determine whether a collectible toy is needed in Kinder or not, because each of them also sounds different.
  2. Weigh the candies right in the store. Instances with the required “filling” will be slightly heavier than the standard 30-gram ones. The “Hello, Kitty” series was especially distinguished; it includes candies weighing 36 g. However, for example, in “Ice Age” there are several lighter figures that cannot be determined by weighing. So this method does not always work.
  3. Read the letter code on the back. If previously the DF marking meant guaranteed receipt of a toy, and the DFB warned about the possibility of being deceived, today this method does not work. But experienced collectors advise purchasing specimens with the designation PR, not R. According to their observations, the new two-digit code precisely indicates the presence of a collectible mini-figurine.

Bride's bouquet on a rigid stem: do-it-yourself bouquet of kinders, step-by-step photo

The second option presented by us is somewhat more difficult to implement, although there is still nothing overly complicated here. And, basically, you will have to spend money exclusively on kinder surprises, as well as colored corrugated paper for crafts; everything else is usually available at home from a real needlewoman. Therefore, it is worth collecting what you need and immediately getting to work, since, after all, these are candies, and they need to be stored under certain conditions, and not by rolling them in your hands.

What you might need to work on a bouquet of kinders

Everyone can answer the question of how to make a bouquet of kinders in their own words, and in fact you can find so many different suggestions and recommendations that it’s not at all surprising. However, we need clean hands and a fresh mind, so let's look at how to make some kind of bridal bouquet, only made not from roses, lilies or violets, but from real kinder surprises.

  • First of all, you should understand that you don’t need to make such a bouquet too large. For convenience, you will need seven or eleven kinders to create a composition.
  • You also need to buy one package of ordinary wooden skewers for kebabs in the appropriate store. Take a few toothpicks there, they can also come in handy, especially if you are going to make a bouquet of kinders and toys.
  • A small piece of polystyrene foam, with a side of at least twenty centimeters.
  • Also, for work you will need to use a central cardboard sleeve from kitchen paper towels, it will become the rigid stem of the bouquet. If you have another similar tube in mind, you can use that too.
  • It would also be nice to have a glue gun, scissors, an awl, a needle and thread, packing tape, and so on on hand.

For decoration, it is recommended to use the finest organza of some delicate, for example, pink or lilac shade, but everything here will depend on the overall image of the bride and the theme of the wedding. You can also buy decorative mesh, sesal, use beads, stones, rhinestones, sparkles and sequins.

Home sweet floristry, master classes

Every novice florist will be told by his capabilities and imagination how to make a bouquet of Kinder flowers with his own hands. There are several proven methods. The simplest of them is to attach the candies to skewers, assemble them using a spiral technique, like a flower arrangement, and wrap them in a beautiful package.

You can make flowers from corrugated paper, hiding a sweet “prize” in them. Both options are great for children for whom the contents of the gift are much more important than the design. A more sophisticated solution is to combine fresh flowers with sweets. Adult fans of Kinder surprises will appreciate it.

You can never have too many toys

A cute arrangement can be made from chocolate eggs and small plush toys: bears, hares or mice. Who prefers who? All components are attached to wooden skewers or thick floral wire.

You will need:

  • chocolate eggs 3 – 5 pcs.;
  • a similar number of plush toys;
  • bamboo sticks, wire D1 mm;
  • tape, heat gun;
  • organza and corrugated paper for packaging.

Let's prepare all the components. We wrap the teddy bears in the middle with wire, making a loop. Or you can tie a ribbon around each one and glue it to a skewer. The main thing is not to pierce the toy, as beginners sometimes do, otherwise it will be hopelessly damaged.

Cut out squares with a side of 20 cm from organza. Attach the “Kinder” to a skewer with hot glue. Then we wrap it in fabric, and firmly tape its ends to the “leg” with tape.

We create a kind of flower from organza. To do this, roll a square of fabric 15x15 cm into a cone, and insert a candy into the middle. We connect the edges of the organza with glue and cover the place of attachment to the skewer with packing tape, beautifully curling its edges with scissors.

Let's start assembling a bouquet of Kinder eggs. If the plush toys are attached to a wire, it is advisable to screw them to the skewers on which the eggs are “planted”. Since there are equal numbers of both, it turns out convenient. All that remains is to fold the components in a spiral, applying them at an angle to each other. We wrap the skewers with tape both for strength and to create a comfortable handle.

You can cut out a few more squares from organza, make “counters” out of them, secure them with glue on skewers and distribute them evenly throughout the arrangement. It will turn out more magnificent and elegant.

We decorate the handle of the sweet bouquet. To do this, take a strip of corrugated paper, 2 cm wide, stretch it slightly and wrap it around the skewers.

Secure the coils with hot glue. Next, cut out a square from the same paper, slightly larger than the height of the bouquet arrangement. Wrapping a sweet gift. We stretch the edges of the packaging a little, giving them a beautiful waviness. And tie the composition with a suitable ribbon.

The entire collection in one bouquet

There are limited editions, “stuffed” only with collectible toys. They are ideal for creating children's bouquets from Kinder with your own hands. The baby will not be deceived in his expectations and will receive all his favorite characters at once - is it possible to imagine greater joy? Of course, no one is safe from duplicates, but they can always be exchanged for the desired copy with friends.

You will need:

  • candies from the desired series;
  • plush baby elephant;
  • foam sheet, 2 cm thick;
  • cling film, toothpicks, masking tape;
  • corrugated paper in two colors, packaging film for flowers, decorative polypropylene tape;
  • a sleeve of culinary parchment or foil;
  • compass, scissors, heat gun.

We cut out a circle D 15 cm from polystyrene foam and make a hole in it corresponding to the cross-section of the sleeve. We wrap the resulting base for the arrangement in light corrugated paper. We decorate the cardboard sleeve with ribbon of two colors - satin or polypropylene, to choose from. Then fill its base with glue and insert it into the prepared hole.

We decorate the main element of the suite arrangement. We wrap each egg in cling film, which must be carefully stretched and straightened well. We connect the candy with a toothpick, wrap it all together with the free ends of the film and fasten it with glue. We make a cuff from a strip of corrugated paper, stretching it with our fingers until waves form. And close the lower part of the candy with the fastener. We tie it with a thin ribbon.

We produce additional decorative elements. “Funsticks” made of corrugated paper as in the previous master class and one more detail - loops of colored ribbons glued to toothpicks. The length of one cut is 12 cm. There should be 20 such parts in total.

We cut out a rectangle measuring 30x50 cm from dark, bright corrugated paper. We “hide” our foam base in it, gluing the sheet along the edge of the circle. We tie the package with a ribbon, as is usually done with flower arrangements.

We insert all components into a circle of foam. First we place the Kinders. We fill the space between them with loops of ribbons and “pounds”. You can add artificial greenery. It is important that the base is not visible. We tie a plush baby elephant rattle onto a kebab skewer and insert it in the center, above the level of the candies.

It is not advisable to simply glue the toy on top. If it is torn off, it may become damaged and the child will be upset.

Crocuses with a surprise

If simply assembling a bouquet of Kinders seems like an uninteresting task, you can complicate it a little. And hide each chocolate egg in a corrugated paper flower. The aesthetic side of the composition will only benefit from this, and the recipient of the arrangement will be pleasantly intrigued.

The most suitable shape will be crocus buds. The step-by-step diagram for making a bouquet from Kinders is as follows:

  1. First we will make blanks for flower buds. To do this, you will need three types of crepe, one of which should be green, for the leaves. The other two can be any, but it is advisable to choose one lighter and the other darker. We cut the paper intended for flowers into rectangles 20 cm long and 5 cm wide.
  2. We twist each strip in the middle and fold it so that the indentations fit into each other. We carefully stretch the resulting petals, giving them the shape characteristic of crocuses. What it should look like can be seen in the photo.
  3. Glue the Kinder egg to the thick end of a wooden skewer and cover it with petals. You can use 3 or 4 blanks to make the bud dense and natural. We also glue the free ends of the petals to a skewer and wrap them with strong thread for reliability.
  4. Then we wrap the base of the flower and the “stem” with green tape or a strip of corrugated paper. In the second case, the top of the crepe is smeared with an aqueous solution of PVA.
  5. We make the leaves in the same way as the petals, only the stripes should be narrower and longer.

  1. The finished bouquet is wrapped in paper packaging, just like a real one, artificial greenery is added and presented to the recipient. Here is one of the composition options:

Another way to use flowers from crepe paper is shown in a video master class on creating a bouquet of Kinder flowers with your own hands. The highlight of this suite composition is the textile basket, in which floral elements and sweets look very impressive.

Fashionable gift

A stylish bouquet of Kinders and flowers is best presented in a hat box. It will turn out not only beautiful, but also practical. The candies do not have to be secured in any way; they are simply placed in a special compartment. And after its sweet component is eaten, you can decorate the interior with a floral arrangement.

You will need:

  • fresh flowers: single-headed and spray roses, carnations, lisianthus, hypericum, eucalyptus,
  • hat box;
  • floral sponge (piaflor), pruning shears, mica film;
  • heat gun.

We line the box with a thick film - “mica”, which will protect the cardboard from moisture. We cut out the floral sponge according to the shape of the packaging. We remove part of the circle, since in addition to flowers, the box will also contain candies. We lower the piaflor into a container of water and wait until it sinks to the bottom on its own.

Place the damp sponge in the box. We cut off the excess edges of the film. Line the sector without a floral sponge with paper. We put chocolate eggs, you can add more sweets from the same manufacturer. A sweet and beautiful gift is ready:

Immortal classics: do-it-yourself bouquet of kinder surprises

Experienced florists have one very accurate saying, which says that five flowers made of paper and toys look one hundred percent better than three, and a hundred are much more beautiful than twenty. Therefore, if you are planning to make a classic bouquet of kinders, photos of various options will help you decide on your choice; you should take more materials so that your composition does not look faded and boring.

Worth remembering

Everyone knows that Kinder Surprise is a rather fragile thing, so when working with chocolate eggs you should be extremely careful and careful. Among other things, if you hold the egg in your palms for a long time, it can melt, since the chocolate in it is milky and melts extremely easily. Always take the precautions associated with this, and if the work is long, then it is better to take kinder surprises for this purpose in better packaging than regular standard colored foil.

Necessary materials, tools and equipment: DIY kinder bouquet

To begin with, you should get the bare necessities so that you don’t have to run around the house screaming if you don’t have enough of a piece of colored ribbon or something else you need. The same applies to the number of “buds” of Kinder surprises that you purchased just in order to make a beautiful and original bouquet for your own child or girl as quickly and efficiently as possible. Therefore, it is advisable to immediately buy several more pieces, especially since extra candies in the house will definitely not harm anyone, unless, of course, there are contraindications from doctors. And spoiling one of the kinders in inept hands would not be a bad thing.

  • A dozen kinder surprises, and you can choose the quantity you want, just the size of the large bouquet you are planning to make.
  • You need to buy long salad skewers or cheap disposable Chinese chopsticks, so that you get forty to fifty pieces in total. Make sure that the length of each stick is no less than thirty centimeters, otherwise it will be difficult to attach them to the eggs, and then to each other.
  • In a craft store, buy two rolls of colored corrugated paper; it is recommended to take one roll of green, and the other, bright and beautiful, you need to choose yourself.
  • Transparent tape of small width.
  • Scissors, awl, needle and thread and similar tools necessary for needlework. By the way, they may not be needed.
  • Also, a variety of decor, such as beads, stones, rhinestones, sparkles, and so on, would not hurt.

Please note that for each Kinder Surprise egg it will take exactly four sushi sticks or skewers, therefore, by and large, we expect to create a bouquet of Kinder eggs with our own hands step by step, which consists of eleven “flowers”.

The simplest bouquet of kinder surprises: a master class without any problems

To begin with, you need to prepare everything for work, that is, bring everything you need, such as scissors, also corrugated paper, the kinders themselves, and so on, in general, everything that you are going to use in creating a bouquet.

  • Take the four sticks you have chosen and secure them together with clear tape. This needs to be done in two places, not far from the edge, about two centimeters, and also somewhere in the middle.
  • Where the sticks are not secured with tape, their tips need to be slightly bent so that the chocolate egg can be inserted into the tube. Moreover, of course, everything needs to be done extremely carefully so as not to break the sticks themselves and damage the testicle.
  • Apply a strip of transparent tape along the edge of the sticks that are adjacent to the surface of the egg package for greater reliability. Then kinders will not unexpectedly jump out of your bouquet.
  • Exactly the same procedure will need to be done with all the kinders and sticks you purchased, this will become the basis of your original bouquet.
  • Carefully cut out a strip of corrugated paper of any color and wrap it around the base of the kinder glued to the sticks. There will be a sepal of sorts for your bud.
  • Cut a longer strip of green corrugated paper and carefully wrap it around the impromptu flower stem.

The only thing left to do is to simply collect all the buds together and leave a bouquet. It is worth understanding that for greater convenience, you can also secure the bouquet with transparent tape. Next, you need to take a decorative mesh and wrap and drape the resulting bouquet so that everything looks aesthetically attractive and pretty. You can attach the ends of the mesh with a glue gun or with the same good old tape.

For final decoration, you can use not only mesh, but also colored corrugated paper, multi-colored films, and to decorate the bouquet, use beads, rhinestones, stones and other rubbish. Some craftsmen even manage to use lace, and the bouquets then immediately acquire a certain delicate charm.

Making a basket

A bouquet for a children's party will look impressive if you put it on the table in a basket. The easiest way is to take a ready-made one, woven from wicker, and decorate it at your own discretion. To decorate the basket you will need:

  • bouquet of chocolate eggs;
  • Stuffed Toys;
  • artificial flowers;
  • scissors;
  • ribbon;
  • colored crepe paper;
  • floral mesh.

The inside of the wickerwork is lined with paper, glued with hot glue. The lower part from the outside is covered with ruffles. Several quadrangles are cut out of the decorative mesh, each is rolled up like a flower and attached inside the basket. These parts need to be placed around the perimeter, closer to the edge, because there will be kinders in the center.

Ribbons 1 cm wide are cut from crepe paper of two colors and wrapped around the handle. The colors should alternate with each other. In several places, corrugated paper flowers or soft toys are glued to the handle. Important: large bears and hares can fall off or move, so it is better to choose from smaller ones. Now all that remains is to make a bouquet of kinder surprises with your own hands and put it in a basket. But there is another, no less interesting option.

The eggs are wrapped in a layer of organza and a cardboard square is placed under the lower end. It is needed so that the packaging of the kinders is not damaged by the glue. The edges of the organza are gathered at the top and tied with a bow using a thin ribbon. A thin sheet is cut out of polystyrene foam and placed on the bottom of the basket. The surface is covered with crepe paper.

Apply glue to the bottom of the egg, where the paper square is attached, and then secure the kinder in the basket. The same goes for other sweets. The final stage is decoration with organza, beads, ribbons and other accessories.

Original gift for girls

A luxurious and exclusive bouquet of kinders for girls will be complemented by funny soft toys, decorative flowers, butterflies and shiny beads.

Required materials and tools:

  • confectionery – 6 pcs.;
  • small soft toys – 4–6 pcs.;
  • wooden skewers for kebabs or sushi – 6 pcs.;
  • wire 18–20 cm long - 6 pieces;
  • glue gun;
  • stationery scissors;
  • wide and narrow tape;
  • corrugated paper;
  • artificial flowers, ribbons, bows for decoration.

To make an original composition, you need to tie each soft toy around the stomach with a piece of wire, one end of which is bent down. You should not pierce the toy, as in this case the child will not be able to play with it.

After this, the organza should be cut into small squares of at least 20–25 cm in size. Place a pastry egg in the middle of each piece, wrap it in the shape of an envelope, inserting a wooden stick.

The skewer must be secured with tape, and the egg must be secured with several strips under the attachment point - thanks to this, it will stay level.

Next, you can move on to decorating the confectionery - for this, the remaining fabric should be cut into small squares of 12–15 cm. Fold each piece diagonally, place a kinder surprise in the center, wrap it, and fasten it with a beautiful ribbon.

After this, the composition is assembled - a soft toy must be tied with wire to each wooden stick on which the chocolate egg is attached. The bottom part of the sticks should be wrapped with several layers of adhesive tape - this will be the handle.

The handle must be wrapped in corrugated paper tape and glued together with a glue gun.

You can decorate the finished composition with artificial flowers, spiral ribbons, beautiful braid, and bows.
