You can choose the colors of the material to your taste; it is not necessary to make a butterfly in white and pink tones. You can and should experiment.
You will need:
- acrylic fabric (felt) in two shades of colors, sewing threads
- padding polyester, cotton wool or other filler you have at home
- beads, gun glue, scissors
- paper, tool for drawing a pattern.
How to sew?
Without the help of parents, it will be difficult for children to draw a symmetrical butterfly. In order for the wings to turn out identical, it is enough to draw one of them, and then cut two parts at once on the fabric. To do this, you will need to fold the fabric in half.
When the wing pattern on the fabric is ready, cut out the finished butterfly with scissors. Then, using this part, cut out another one of the same white color. Don't forget about seam allowances. Keep in mind that after you fill the product with padding polyester, it will become slightly smaller.
As you can see above, there is embroidery on the front of the product. There are four stripes on each butterfly wing. It should be made with bright threads that are in harmony with the white color. Then sew the two parts together by hand using white thread. When there is a small distance left between the stitches, fill the product with padding polyester. And carefully sew four beads.
Do the same with the pink felt. From start to finish of the process. The only thing that is not needed is embroidery on the wings.
Decorate the wings with beads at your discretion; you can also use sequins and other materials from sewing stores as decoration. At the end, all that remains is to sew the upper and lower parts of the beautiful butterfly.

- "Moment-Crystal". It glues very tightly, the substance itself is transparent. It is recommended to apply with a brush because it is very liquid. Not allowed for use by people who are allergic to chemical additives.
- "UHU Creative". Quickly fixes felt fabrics, padding polyester, wool, chintz and other materials. Can be combined with cardboard or paper. Mainly used for crafts, easy to wash off with water.
To choose what to glue the felt with, you need to decide on the base (paper, cardboard, fabric, wood).

Why can't you use PVA glue?
Some people use PVA when working with textiles, this is a big mistake, only universal glue is needed.
Regular PVA is used only when working with paper or cardboard. If you use it on fabrics, it will leave yellow stains.
It is better not to use white and thick glue at all, as it forms lumps.
Attach with silicone
For easy and enjoyable work, you need to choose good tools. The glue gun belongs to the category of electrical appliances; it runs on mains power and heats the silicone inside. During the process, it flows out of the gun onto the work surface. If you will only be working with fabrics, then you can buy a gun with a 7 mm rod, this will be quite enough.
Silicone rods
The length of the rod depends on the quality of work; if you take very short ones, you need to constantly change them. When purchasing a gun, you need to pay attention to the heating temperature. For classic rods, heating up to 100 degrees is enough; if the temperature is higher, then the melting speed is corresponding, which means the work goes faster.

- Turn on the glue gun;

These items can be washed in a machine on a delicate cycle. It is not advisable to wring out; drying is carried out only at room temperature, in a horizontal position. Otherwise, the craft or thing may stretch. Since the felt is quite dense and rough, there is no need to iron it.
Direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided because the fabric can dry out and become very brittle.
Felt tape
When washing by hand, do not wring or twist the fabric too much, as this may cause pilling. If the fabric is not very dirty, then dry cleaning with a coarse brush is sufficient.
Owl

Step-by-step instruction:
- Draw a square with rounded corners on a piece of checkered paper. A circle for the eyes, and a half circle for the wings. Triangles that will serve as ears for the owl.

Ladybug

Prepare:
- scissors, red and brown threads
- beads of two colors white and dark
- dark brown and red fabric
- glue with a gun.
Instructions:
- Draw a large circle and a smaller semicircle, it will be the head of the insect.
- You will also need a small circle - four spots on the back of the ladybug. This is the whole pattern.
- Now place a circle and a semicircle together on brown felt and cut out the bottom part of the product. They need to be cut in two
- On the red one, circle and cut out a small triangle at the bottom, as in the photo above. Do the same for two parts
- Place four identical brown spots on the back.
- Now sew two brown parts for the lower part of the ladybug and two upper parts, stuff them with padding poly for volume.
- Cover with beads. Glue the spots on top. Then connect the parts with a glue gun.
