Simple flowers

Making flowers from satin ribbons is a basic skill.

Use a meter tape. Fold in half widthwise.

First of all, you need to take a ribbon 6 cm wide and about 90 cm long and fold it in half, with the wrong side inward. Then you need to sew the ribbon, basting it along the edge, starting from the fold line and moving towards the edges.
After this, pull the basting thread at one end in order to carefully gather the ribbon along its entire length. Fold the edge of the ribbon to form a central bud. To do this, you need to use the edge from which you started basting the ribbon and secure it with a few stitches.
Then you need to twist the ribbon around the central bud, and after each turn the ribbon should be secured along the edge. After it ends, hide the ends of the thread and straighten the made flower.
If desired, you can make a stem for the flower by making it from a green plastic tube and placing a “bud” on it.

Lilies

Original crafts made from satin ribbons, skillfully made, replace bridal bouquets, panels, souvenirs and standard gifts.

Satin flowers are used to collect paintings and make accessories. To collect a lily, follow the instructions:

Petals are made from square pieces. Bend each one in half, diagonally and fix it by fusing the ends. The parts are oval in shape, with sharp ends and a deep recess.

Collect 5 petals, placing the convex side up, on a thread. Securely fastened.

Christmas tree

A cone made of paper or cardboard is used as the base of the tree.

Glue to each other along the long side.
A bead with a loop is attached to the tip. A piece of wire is passed through the workpiece, beads are strung on it and the tip is bent.
A rope is threaded through the loop and attached to the tree.

Some DIY crafts made from satin ribbons are distinguished by their special weaving.

Cut squares with a side length of 5 cm. Cover the top and bottom of the ball with pieces of fabric.
The square is bent in half, then into a triangle. Place it in the center of the top piece on the ball. This is done with three more blanks. To prevent them from falling apart, they are fastened with pins.
Repeat symmetrically with the bottom piece.
New triangles are pricked, retreating from the top of the first ones by 1.5 cm.
Continue several times, from below and from above, until the triangles close in the middle. The pins that hold the structure remain.

The line in the center is masked with a shiny ribbon that is wrapped around the ball.

Weaving is suitable for making Christmas balls. Use color combinations to emphasize transitions.

Bouquets

The bottom of the handle is wrapped with a wide ribbon and a bow is tied. They glue it so it doesn't come undone. The ends of the tape should be long and hang freely.

The buds are intertwined with beads. Pastel colors go well with pearls and small bows.
